Pastor Marcus Kirk began his walk with the lord in 1994, when he became a member of Morning Star Holiness Church, in Memphis TN, under the leadership of W.A. Seasley. He then became active in several ministries of the church which consist of the bus ministry, the men’s choir, the youth and outreach ministry, and the theatrical ministry.
In 1998 he moved back to his hometown of Gary IN, and became a member of New Bethesda Full Gospel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Lawrence Person. While attending New Bethesda he became a deacon, and in August 2001 he received his call to preach the gospel and became a licensed ordained minister.
In his pursuit to go higher in the lord, he and his wife became members of Living Word Christian Center, under the leadership of Dr. Bill Winston. During his time at Living Word Church, he received his diploma from The School of Ministry. Pastor Kirk soon took advantage of an opportunity to go on an eight-day Mission Trip to Costa Rica and preach the good news of Jesus Christ to the locals.
Today, Pastor Marcus and his wife are founders and pastors of United in Christ Church. He is married to the love of his life, LaToya, and is the father of two children, Amaya and Aliyah, and is a grandfather.
