Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, authoritative and infallible Word of God without error, and the divine revelation of His will for the salvation of men.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, (true God and true man) having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, arose from the dead, and ascended into heaven seated at the right hand of God, where He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

We believe in water baptism by immersion, after accepting Jesus Christ as personal savior, as the way for believers to identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and the observance of the Lord’s Supper.

We believe that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again spiritually and that the believer's new birth comes only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe, also, that our redemption has been accomplished by the grace of God, an unmerited gift, given in love by God and not the result of any human works.

We believe that there is one God, existing in three manifestations: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Man is created in the image of God, but was separated from him through sin. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God.
Genesis 1:27; 1 Timothy 2:5

We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance (admitting we have sinned) and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ (believing in the death, burial, and resurrection of Him). By receiving and accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are now, by faith, born of the Holy Spirit and have a personal relationship with God through salvation. We become the Children of God and spend eternity with Him.

The Bible speaks of Hell as a real place of suffering (a place of permanent separation from God) for those who die without accepting Christ. There will be the resurrection of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord and to the unbeliever, judgment, and everlasting conscious punishment. God desires that no man perish but have everlasting life.

We believe that the explicit message of our Lord Jesus Christ to those whom He has saved is to make Christ known to the whole world and that this is the purpose of the church through the individuals within it.

We believe that Satan, the devil, is the prince of demons and the declared accuser and adversary of God and man. However, when the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, He disarmed the power of the devil and guaranteed the ultimate triumph of God.

We believe that all believers should seek to walk by the Spirit, separating themselves from worldly practices and witnessing by life and by word the truths of the Holy Scripture.

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence that speaking in tongues is a gift from God to the Believer who asks for it. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to help convict men of sin, instruct, guide and empower the believer to develop the character of Christ for godly living and service.

We believe that all believers will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ and rewarded based on their faithful obedience to Him in this life.
